Who We Are
At Ochlockonee Bay UMC, relationships matter. We gather each week for worship, prayer, music, and fellowship — and we genuinely care for one another.
Our church is traditional in worship style, relaxed in atmosphere, and deeply committed to kindness, compassion, and service.
We believe church should feel like family — a place where you are known, supported, and loved.

What We Believe
As part of the United Methodist tradition, we believe in God’s grace, the love of Jesus Christ, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
We believe faith is lived out through worship, prayer, Scripture, service, and caring for others.
Above all, we believe God’s love is for everyone — and that there is a place for everyone in His family.

Our Story
Established in 1973, Ochlockonee Bay United Methodist Church has been a spiritual home for generations of families in our coastal community.
Through seasons of change, growth, and renewal, our mission has remained the same: to share God’s love and serve our neighbors with open hearts.
Today, we continue that legacy — welcoming new faces while honoring the faithful foundation built before us.

Our Pastor
Pastor Cherryl Mixon-Cruce leads our congregation with warmth, compassion, and a deep love for people. She is passionate about creating a welcoming space where everyone feels seen, valued, and supported in their faith journey.
If you visit, you’ll likely be greeted personally — and you’ll quickly discover her genuine heart for ministry and community.
